I’m off to Singapore next week.
It all happened so fast. My boss told me about the possibility of going there earlier this week. Then yesterday, we already have rooms reserved for us. I’m still waiting for confirmation on our flight schedule.
I’m very excited! It’ll be my first trip outside the country. Yeah!
Just this morning, my colleague, Jojie, and I went to Dionne’s office to renew our passports. Jojie’s expires May while mine’s October. Thanks to Dionne’s powers, we will get them on Monday morning.
One other thing I need before I leave: a temporary clearance from SEI-DOST. In exchange for being a scholar for 5 years in college, I just needed to report to them that I was working in the country or for a local company for the same number of years. This, unfortunately, I have neglected. I have not been able to get certificates of employment from my previous employers. At least one of them have folded up! Haay. I am praying that this will be available on Monday as well…
When I get back, I’ll see what can be done to get my permanent clearance.
As happy as I am for this opportunity, the timing is not very ideal. It’s Dionne’s birthday next week!
Let’s see what can be done about that…
do you have clearance from DOST? kahit yung ni-present mo lang sa NBI? you have to bring that sa airport, haharangin ka nila (unless pinatanggal mo na name mo sa Immigrations Database). at saka, di pa ba tapos “service” mo to DOST? hehe!
saang area ka sa singapore? be sure to check out the night safari! holiday pala dun til wednesday next week because of Chinese New Year, so it’ll be crowded. :p
anyway, enjoy! puede pabili sa Sim Lim?? heheh!

tseri, di ko pa naasikaso yung clearance eh. kaya temp na lang muna. ano yung sa nbi? wala pa akong nbi clearance! nuninu.
wala akong alam kung saang area yun. hotel royal yung pag-stay-an namin, kung saan man yun. magpapasama lang ako dun sa mga friends ko na andun.
ano yung sim lim??

manong, sim lim – isang 4 or 5-storey building (or 2 ata) na panay electronics. malamang gusto mo dun.

Hi jovs!
enjoy singapore! I’m sure magugustohan mo dun!
Would be nice to go to the Night safari with Dionne! hehehe ^^ kakalungkot naman pag mag-isa lang. Better maybe to just take the boat ride or strolling lang along Clarke Quay all the way to the Merlion Park ^^
contact super-zero! andun siya! Palibre ka na rin sa kanya. hehehe ^^ I have his number, email me at my epson account if you’re interested. Or you can contact super-zero thru our salsa mailing list din ^^
enjoy! enjoy! inggit ako! want so much to go back there. ^^ Try the grilled sting ray para try lang and the satay (bbq) with peanut sauce are delicious. ^^ Laksa if you like gata and seafood ^^
