Crickey!

Opera House (Likod, Hehe)

Abangan. :)

My visa got approved. Yey!

But I think I’m leaving on Monday. Yari na.

Update: Tuesday pa pala.  More time to prepare.  Three months is a very long time. :(

This is my bracket as of today:

I’ll post the results as the playoffs go along and see how right (or wrong I am).

NBA Regular Season 07-08 Recap

Regular season’s finally over. After an excruciating run, the Miami Heat have successfully captured the last place in the league with a record of 15-67, ensuring them of having the biggest chance of getting the #1 pick in the coming draft. From champions to cellar-dwellers in just two seasons… Tsk.

I hope they get a good big man to compensate for the loss of Shaq. Notice how rejuvenated he looks with the Suns these days? I wonder why he wasn’t like that with the Heat for the past season or so. After the trade, I was torn between following Shaq or sticking with the Heat. I decided to go with the rebuilding team. Good luck to Shaq and the Suns this post-season. They’re going to need a lot of it in facing the defending champ Spurs.

On the bright side, there’s no where to go but up for the Heat next season. I hope Dwyane gets all the rest and he needs to get back to championship form. Marion is a great addition to the team. I’d think they’ll be playing fast-paced basketball next season. There could be another sighting of J-WIll’s behind-the-back-elbow-pass:

Sweet!

Fantasy-wise, this was a forgettable season for me:

Looking forward to next year’s fantasy season. I hope to give a better fight next time.

For now, let the playoffs begin!

The NBA’s LVP

With the NBA season almost over, a lot of speculation has been made on who will win the MVP race. Top candidates are: Kobe, CP3 and KG. You can even add LeBron to that mix.

Now that’s for the league’s MVP – Most Valuable Player.

What’s LVP you ask? Least Valuable Player.

I stumbled upon this article on “Who is the NBA’s LVP?” and just wanted to share it.

I remember when Robert Horry was one of the most feared shooters in the clutch:

(please forgive the poor video quality on this one)

I guess those legen…(wait for it)…dairy days are gone. :(

Shadowmoor Pre-Release on April 19-20

Shadowmoor is almost here! Pre-release tournaments will be held this weekend. Benj and I will try to play on the first flight on the first day so as to be assured of getting the pre-release foil card, which is (drum-roll):

Demigod of Revenge (Pre-release Foil)

I love it! Mechanically, that is. Not a big fan of the art though.

As I write this, the spoiler at MTG Salvation is not yet complete. Only 248 out of 301 cards have been spoiled.

Some cards that I’m excited about:

Another combo piece waiting for a deck.

Wow! Simply wow.

A mouthful of abilities!

Just waiting to be tested… This card might take some time for explanations though.
