Revival
In case you’re reading this, thank you! By the way, we’re blogging again.
In case you’re reading this, thank you! By the way, we’re blogging again.
though I haven’t updated my blog for over a month (gawd!!!). Things are okay on my end: my little girl is thriving and my husband is coming home soon (hurray for both!). I’m sooo busy at work. But I’m trying out twitter. Maybe that could work for me. Hehe!
Gosh, I miss blogging.
I was invited by Nice on her Momma stuff blog to share my thoughts on routines.
Do you have routines for your kids? Care to share? Does it really help?
Just like her, I think routines are important because it brings consistency in a child’s life.
And for Issie, I think that she learns/understands things faster when things are done on a regular basis. Before, she would wail whenever she takes a bath but since she does this everyday, she now enjoys her baths.
Here’s our routine at home:
Issie wakes up around 8am.
She would say good morning to everyone in the house including the ref (where some family pictures are), mirror and Lola Mommie’s plants and flowers.
She sits in her stroller as we eat breakfast.
She takes a short nap after.
She takes a bath at around 10am (depends on what time she wakes up).
She plays in her mat with her toys.
She again sits in her stroller during lunch.
She takes another nap.
We again play with her toys.
She gets cleaned up for bed.
She again sits in her stroller during dinner.
I read to her.
We play some more.
I put on her jammies.
Cuddle, cuddle. Until she falls asleep which is between 9:30-10:30pm
I grabbed this from Mai’s blog. Since I’ve been out of circulation for so long, I missed out on a lot of interesting tags. Hehe. Here i am, tagging myself.
How long did you date?
We started dating February 2004.
How old is he?
He’ll be 30 on the 18th.
Who eats more?
He does! He actually eats more than the average person. Hahaha! He’ll kill me for this.
Who said “I love you” first?
I’m not sure. But for my ego, I’d like to think he did.
Who is taller?
Definitely him.
Who sings better?
We love to sing at videoke bars and we even got ourselves a magic mic. He has a good singing voice and will just give the credit to him (masama loob ko. hahaha!)
Who is smarter?
I’d say he is. He got honors when we were in elementary and when he was in high school. Nerd kasi yun.
Whose temper is worse?
Mine. I can be a b*tch sometimes.
Who does the laundry?
The help. He does his now because he’s in Oz.
Who does the dishes?
Ulit sa taas. The help. He does his now because he’s in Oz.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
He does. Now, I sleep at his side of the bed for fear of Issie falling.
Who pays the bills?
He does. Kulang sweldo ko. Haha!
Who cooks dinner?
My mom. I cook merienda, sometimes.
Who drives when you are together?
We both don’t know how to. One of the things we have to learn in the near future.

Mutual eh. (ibig sabihin ako nag-initiate) Hahaha!
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong?
Sya. Stubborn nga ako eh.
Whose parents do you see the most?
Mine. My mom specifically.
Who proposed?
He did. After a reunion. *kilig*
Who is more sensitive?
I am. But in fairness to him, he’s also sensitive. He knows if my day is not going well.
Who has more friends?
I think I do. I have different sets of friends. But since we introduce each other to our friends, the other befriends the friends and eventually everyone becomes friends. Nahilo ka ba?
Who has more siblings?
He does, he has a sister and three brothers. I have a brother and two sisters.
Who wears the pants in the family?
He does. Hands down, one of the most responsible persons I met.
Miss you brad.
